Cing is an independent video game developer based in Japan. Founded in April 1999 they have developed games various systems. Cing has developed various mystery point and click titles on the Nintendo DS.

Nintendo DS: - In the past few years Cing's attention has been on the Nintendo DS system. They have developed various mystery titles on the platform which have been published both by Nintendo and other publishers.

Nintendo Wii: - Cing has started developing titles for the Nintendo Wii. They have created new unqiue titles based on the IP's they own as well as been part of a dream team which developed Little King Story.

Playstation Two: - Cing grassed the system with one title for Japan players only. The system was one of Cing's first games to be developed by their studio. The game was published by Capcom in Japan.

The Nintendo DS system plays the original title in the series Another Code: 2 Memories (Trace Memory in America).

The games are cart based. These carts fit into the back of the Nintendo DS system. Another Code: 2 Memories plays on the Nintendo DS system, Nintendo DS Lite system and the Nintendo DSi. The Game is Region Free.

The Nintendo DS game in the series Another Code: 2 Memories has unique touch screen controls and puzzles. Gameplay is centered around the touch screen for optium enjoyment and control.

The Nintendo Wii console is home to the second title in the series Another Code: R (Gateway of Memories).

The Nintendo Wii uses an optical media disk which is region coded (eg. PAL and NTSC). A copy of Another Code: R which is bought in Japan will not work on an Australian Wii console (for example). Another Code: R plays on the Nintendo Wii console.

Another Code: R (Gateway of Memories) uses the Nintendo Wiimote and Nunchuck. Another Code: R does not use Wii Motion Plus. The game uses the motion control to solve puzzles and guide Ashley.

Cing has other great titles on both the Nintendo DS and Wii. They also have mobile titles and PS2 titles in their backlog. Enjoy such titles such as Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (DS), Little King Story (Wii) and Again: Eye of Providence (DS).

How to Play - Control

Another Code revolves around the character Ashley. The game relates to her feelings, desires and ambitions. You control her to solve her problems- as well as the mysteries and puzzles on the way.

On both the Wii and DS versions you control Ashley using the system's main feature. For example with the Nintendo DS this is the touch screen. You use the stylus to direct Ashley. The game is controled on the Wii in a simular fashion with the Wiimote.

Both titles feature on screen buttons which allows the user easy access to the backpack and DAS system as well as other features. Touch on the DS and use the Wiimote and click them on the Wii.

Puzzles use the features on the console to manipulate objects to solve puzzles via the touch screen (DS), Buttons (Wii and DS) and Wiimote (DS) etc.

From time to time you talk to characters, conversations can be continued by pressing A on both the DS and Wii. The conversations start by selecting the character.

Various items found accross the game can be used to interact with puzzles and characters (same as DAS cards).

An in game DS which allows Ashley to interact with the world more then before. Such as taking pictures, settings (saving, loading etc.), reading DAS cards and other gameplay options.

The Wii version uses the wiimote to perform tasks such as moving the Wiimote to pour beer etc.

Another Code: 2 Memories - Ashley gets a letter to meet her Dad on Blood Edward Island- the first time she even knew he was still alive- follow her as she finds the truth about herself and the mysterious D who she meet.

Another Code, R: Gateway of Memories: - The second game travels to a land which Ashleys mum worked. Ashley must find the secrets surrounding the location as well information on her mum.

Cheats

Another Code: 2 Memories - Finish the game once for unlock a starred game (every 2nd playthrough). This changes the game slightly in various locations. Get all the items and show them in all the required spots to get a "good" ending.

Another Code, R: Gateway of Memories: - We don't know any cheats or hints for GoM.
