I don’t know what I had planned originally- in fact I was going to be on hiatus from this site a lot longer then this. Also I was to busy playing hopscotch with what I wanted to do with 5xxt. In the end I just went crazy for awhile, failed a few assignments and then passed others.
My plan for tonight’s dinner was going to be Pizza, but nooooooooooo mum had to be called in for work. Anyway the point is- with the steak which dad bought originally (some really shit rump- I think its a rump?) anyway I’m going to cook a SUPER STEAK!
Now my plan is to cook this steak with some sort of epic super cocktail of random shit which I can find.
I saw some good tips about how to make the batter and stuff like that yesterday (I cooked steak yesterdays I did)- but today I can’t seem to find any.
My plan is to basterdize the meat by pounding salt, herb salt and what ever other type of garlic herbish mess I can fuck the steak up with.
Well that is pretty funky isn’t it? What else did the internet tell me? Nothing much. But all I know is if I had ordered pizza it would of been here by now- I would be enjoying the various new flavours Dominos has, and cowing down a Hawaiian on Thin.
So what else can I say? In prep mode all I’m doing is chilling out to some various toons on the media centre and writing this article- tasty?
Let’s hope Master Chief tonight has some better dishes then what I’m about to cook up.
Cooking it – 5:30 to #:## :
I’m not going to say the finishing time on this baby- because well, I could of done it wrong and that’s plan evil. But I can tell you it is done in under 30 min. Or over.
Okay, so I just got back from cooking the most of it- now is time for a bit of a write up. I dare say I might burn the shits out of it because of what I did to it- or because of what I will now do.
As the sun goes down, my hunger kicks in. What will old trin cook? Well lets see what we have to cook!
What is this? Yucky shit on my cooking bench? That can’t be.
Lets clean that shit off.
I’m only going to cook one today, that is for me. Not cooking mum’s is because she went to work and now I’m not enjoying pizza.
Let’s rape that bitch with some herb salt. I pushed in both sides the salt into the deep side of the tasty steak.
Time to cook this bitch!
Eating it – The Deep of the Night:
After a bit of fiddling around, I cleaned the steak up to be worthy of my eating in a sandwich. 2x cheese and BBQ and Tomato sauce.
Was it worth it?
Trinest Version:- Yes
Master Chief Version:- Presentation wise, it was very messy. Icky Tomato sauce all over the place.
When taking a bite, the herb salt digs in to your throat- but the cheese on both sides of the steak and the bread cushions it into a pillow keeping it in one part of your mouth.
The sauce doesn’t cover all of the meat, but the two sauces used gives it a unique flavour in various spots of the steak. With the amount it isn’t as noticeable, and just gives it some extra jazz.
Added note from the Trin God: “Working on a new theme for trinest.com, lets just say its Trin !1.
We managed to get a hands on experience with the WashiForums Alpha. WashiForums is made by the same team which brought you White Crane.
For those who are familiar to White Crane, upon installation you will be greeted with the same simple design which was made famous by White Crane, gone is the deep blue colour scheme but now a lush green is dipped across this theme.
There are lots of bugs in the system which while its a great step in the right direction, it may be some time before we see it working across older versions of PHP rather then 5 which it was developed for. As well as a few design choices which so far limit what can be done.
The simple feature list is edit and delete of users posts. No-one can join unless the admin ads them so far and like White Crane the Admistrative panels are simple and easy to use.
From my knowledge the forum software uses the same theme set up as White Crane, so it would be easy to create themes for the forum software.
Like White Crane the forum posting system works like the Wiki URL system of White Crane- as well as typing in the header of the page you want created on the main page.
While there isn’t much to show and see, the system so far works in some degrees and in others no so. The sour taste after testing the forum software reminds the user that it is indeed an Alpha. With bugs appearing more and more as testing progressed.
It’s a step in the right direction and we look forward to seeing the final product or the next betas We have though concerns over security and the strengths of the system. Like White Crane – WashiForums doesn’t use mySQL.
So 10 years ago we got these games on GBC- well in Japan on its anniversary (fucking Windows Live Writer- Stop suggesting stupid shit for my bad spelling- I think that’s finally right :/) these titles will be released!
Yeah above is some random youtube footage!
ITS RUMOR TIME!!!!!!
Going around on the web- is that this little bugger is a bastard child of retarded Pikachu’s. Looks awesome!
We take a few steps back and look at one of the games from last year which was rated highly and got Game of the Year for 2008 from Us.
Last year we looked at the Game of The Year at a more wide way. We introduced some consoles which we didn’t focus on from the years before and in the end it was still a Nintendo title which for me took home the gold.
The Nintendo DS line up brought home N+ as one of the greatest flash games turned to a game on the go, then Time Hollow- an interesting game with a great story, worth every second. But what beet the DS line up was The World Ends With You- but then crashing its dreams as our GoTY was a Wii title called Disaster: Day of Crisis.
Disaster: Day of Crisis was released in Europe, Japan and Australia- what about America? I dare say its still not out there. The title is one of the only titles which PAL regions can be proud to own, but with its shaky development history, lack of support from Nintendo which shifted its position as a top AAA game down to something in the bargain bins only a few months after release- a game which has had vary limited success which resulted in a pefetic distribution run. The game a quality AAA title- saw the light because of the trashy attitude of the publisher Nintendo.
What didn’t help Disaster was its shaky development history. It was one of the original games which was announced for the Nintendo Wii- back when it was the Revolution. Along with another title called Project H.A.M.M.E.R for years the result of these two titles was unknown by fans and people in the media. Speculation that both projects where canned to projects been worked on secret sprouted. Even after Project H.A.M.M.E.R was officially dead- it was still rumoured that it existed, along with the fact what happened to Disaster?
Well out of the two Disaster survived and its direction and attitude changed with that. A few months later, the images and information of the final project started flooding in. No one knew how the title would play in the end.
Reuben Langdon was one of the voices in Disaster: Day of Crisis, he explained on his blog recently the shaky development of the title- and how the script was changed slightly from the original. For example STORM to SURGE. In Japan one of the trailers featured SURGE so its hard to say if they got the final script. PAL regions got the script as well. There are a few other differences as well. Check out his blog post here- he has some interesting videos of the recording of the voices as well.
To this day i hold high regard for this title- I payed $100AUD for it at EB during launch- and while a few months later Kmart slashed the prices down to only half of that. Its not a title which I regret buying/wanting. The game doesn’t have the best polish on it- and yes it does have some small things which just doesn’t feel right. But over all its a great experience and great game.
