Something quick to think about- and bitch about, the direction that companies are going with Video Game Box arts.

Who’s idea is it to plaster what was once considered evil, annoying and plan in the way of a boxart no-one would ever see once its put away. But something which gamers want clean and spleen- while the marketing management of this generation with the confliction options especially from piracy has only a few options to sell retail products.

The “8.5/10 – Good” – IGN or something like that, is slowly creeping onto box arts. The aim to sell the games by reviewers – sometimes unrelable opions.

Then you have those big – sometimes stickers which appear advertising something you can do in the game. For example the next Another Code game in the UK saying you can play the game like an interactive novel.

And finally one of the worst of all- when on the front of the cover text is put which should be on the back. Meaning the general outline is on the front and the same or simular again on the back.
