Yes fokes Mario is not going to get an award tonight. Why? Because I believe the GoTY shouldn’t be a over hyped title or anything. I believe this award should go to the game I enjoyed the most. So while I loved Mario Galaxy. Other Nintendo consoled games and other games I enjoyed more. Which is why Mario gets no award.
Here at Trinest.Com I picked the games I enjoyed from each system. I merged all consoles not from Nintendo into the ‘Crap’ folder. All Nintendo consoles are in the Nintendo area. As well as PC and GoTY.
So Who’s going to win? We will also have an honorable mention award called the Green Turtle.

Game of The Year 2007 for the PC is…
Unreal Tournament 3
Everyone is now going to go ‘what’ and leave this article now. Good for them. I’m not going to to say ‘Portal’ or ‘Gears of War’ to shut them up. Like I said I’m giving GoTY status to the games I enjoyed. Those games while good didn’t make me spend $105 on a Collectors edition. No this is not due to the cost. But due to the fun.
UT3 was slashed and bashed because of well everything a reviewer wanted to do. The fact is. UT3 is a great game. The thing it lacked was content and that is coming. So why slander it?
This is a great game. It plays well. It looks good and the action and stuff is still there from the older games. While you need the best computer in the universe to run it. It’s still great even on a mediocre PC. A must buy.

Not Mario!
Game of The Year 2007 for any Nintendo Console is….
Dementium: The Ward
Every Nintendo game this year has been showed with core problems which broke the game. Mario Galaxy has the fact it’s the same old Mario still. Nothing is going to fix it. But they hid it which made it great. But some levels were a bore.
Dementium on the other hand did have problems. But all it has was a broken save system. I’m not going to slander this game due to that. I took points off it due to that from my review sure. But I also said it was GoTY material. Look now, its Trinest.Com’s Nintendo Game of The Year. Heck who knows. It might be Game of The year in a whole.
Dementium set out to do one thing. That is to be a different experience on the Nintendo DS console. While it did things other consoles have seen before. The game was a fresh entry into the Nintendo DS line up. The horror game for the Nintendo DS is a fun game for everyone to own.

Game of The Year 2007 for everything else….
*Loads Google* *looks at most popular game for a system not covered* *scans top 10* *looks at one of the games* *ah that is good*
Bonk’s Return
Yes a mobile game beats the shit out of any Xbox360 or PS3 game. Bonk’s Return came out in America last year. But in Australia only came out in 2007. Heck either way it’s a great game which deserves recognition.
I could of said any popular game. But I didn’t. I can say that next year GTA:IV will win this section. Until then Mobile game FTW.
This game is the only game for mobile I would waste credit on. The game is simple. Think a classic Mario game but replace jumping on monsters with hitting them with your head and you got this game.
This Hudson Entertainment game should be downloaded by all people with mobile phones right now.

Game of The Year 2007…
Dementium: The Ward
Some may call be a fanboy. But a fanboy never admits flaws. A fanboy will sit in a corrner until PS3 sales take over Wii sales in Japan and then call up there friends for a party. Wait that happened to all the Sony fanboys last month. Oh well.
But seriously. Dementium: The Ward wins.
Like I said when I started this article. I’m handing out this award to a game which I enjoyed, Loved and Admire. It’s not going to go to some over-rated or hyped up crap fest.
I said before when I gave this game the hand-held award. This game has a flaw. A not a big flaw. But one which made everyone hate it. It is the save system. Renegade kid got one thing wrong which made everyone slander this game and not look at what the game had to offer. The save system was broken due to it saved you at the start of the chapter every time you died. That is all and good as that is what the developers intended to do. But you can’t save your game then die then go back to that previous save. Just doesn’t work that way.
Dementium: The Ward’s story is basically this. Wake up in a hospital. Scary things. Yada yada yada. Not that great of a story. But it works. It’s a smooth story which keeps you wondering what that girl is? Or what is the twist the game promised?
Graphically this game is the best on the Nintendo DS. Sub par or ever better than Metroid Prime: Hunters.
Dementium: The Ward Review.
Congratulations Dementium on winning Trinest.Com’s Game of the Year.

Runners Up…
1. Lost in Blue 3
This Nintendo DS game is a runner up to GoTY. Only because it’s not out in English so I can’t enjoy the game to it’s max. Also because the English version has some said improvements so American people enjoy the game more.
Like I said in my hands on this game is very smooth and enjoyable. I thought this game would be easy- it is to some extent. But over all it’s quite smooth and enjoyable.
Theres not much more I can say about this game. Just that if it came out this year (In America or Australia or Europe dah!). It would be GoTY material. Though this game we won’t see next year (on this list) due to the great games coming out in 2008. We will miss you from this list Lost in Blue 3. Enjoy this spot. You are a great game worth every minute.
2. Unreal Tournament 3
In my mind this PC game could have been GoTY like it’s prodessors. But it’s just not going to happen. This is a great game. Plays great, looks great and feels great. But it just lacks the content to push it up to the top this time.
3. Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl
These Nintendo DS games get a mention due to the fact they have stayed on the sale charts since they came out. Nothing pushed them down off them as much as the other games. This game still enjoys a spot on the the top 10 on many gaming sites. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are a great fresh start to put the Pokemon series back in action.
4. Super Mario Galaxy
Okay I lied. Super Mario Galaxy will get a mention. This game is fun and enjoyable and a great Wii game. Possibly the best Wii game this year. But not as good as any Nintendo DS game we have seen this year.

Warning: Will offend everyone in Queensland, Perth and Armidale (I hate you guys). This is meant to be funny. So shut up and watch tv if you don’t understand.
I started talking to myself on a cloudy day thinking what I could do to make the day not a bore. Then I realised, I could take over the world. Who’s with me with the start of Trinest Land?
Okay not the world. We don’t want to be a target of America. Maybe a size-able chunk of the New England and maybe New South Wales?
Not that big. Here is our Proposal:

So here is the plan:
- Start taking the smaller regions around Tamworth. Things like Werris Creek and Walcha. (The first ring).
- Our next project will be Gunnedah, Armidale (Sadly it has to be in my Kingdom *sad face*)and Murriundi. (Second Ring).
- I think you get the picture now. So imagine one man taking over the other rings.

So once we have this we will de attach ourselves from Australia. Maybe have some wars up near Queensland (I’ve always hatted those guys). Oh we will also become best mates with Sydney, have a few beers with people from Newcastle and maybe make Perth our second-settlement. After all half the people there are teenagers who moved there to avoid paying child support.
We will then force the Australian government to give the Goldcoast a turn at been a state. We will also open up a free trade and movement agreement with the new formed state of the Gold coast.
The following towns would miss out on a better health system under my government so they are going rage war against my country; Wee Waa.
As you can see. We don’t own them;

Don’t worry guys. Next election vote in the other guy!
If this doesn’t work. Don’t worry we have a back up plan. After all we can’t stop whats already been done with global warming. So Antarctica is done for. I declare Antarctica “Trinest Land”.

So now we abandoned the hope of having Trinest Land in Australia, we now own Antarctica. That means guys your favorite holiday destination is now run by a government. Which means no more penguins on the beaches. They are now in the Zoos. That also means jobs. Green groups? Would you rather animals dead? or in Zoos which attract jobs? Think about it…
Trinest Land will also conduct experiments to colonize Mars.

I forgot to do something for my birthday on this site. I thought heck lets do a banner change or something. But now it’s been and gone. I decide to just do a small article. This article includes such stories as:
- SUPER FUN HAPPY TIME THE WII STORY
and…
- PETRO LIKES TO FISH TAIL IN STORM STORY
Each story includes random pictures and bitching. Let’s get the Wii story out of the way first.
Last year (2006) the Nintendo Wii console came out on my birthday. Unlucky for me. I went to school. But lucky for me I didn’t find out about the truth. You see Nintendo likes to release products with out ironing out the bugs. So when I got home and plugged in my Nintendo Wii. I was already on my SECOND CONSOLE.
What happend to the first one? Something like this:
So then my IT tech nerd Brother popped down to Target and got me a new Wii:
Which was something like this!

I was like ‘OMFG GOODIE’ until a few weeks later it broke. I got a new one from Nintendo to bad. Nintendo likes to send broken stuff. This one. DIDN’T READ DISKS. To bad I was going away so I couldn’t do anything about it.
Bad thing was Target and Nintendo tool’d around so I didn’t get a Wii from either of them again. I ended up splurging all the monies on GC games from EB. Then I ended up getting a new Wii when the shipment came in March.
Since then it’s been ace.
Anyway back to the present. You see on my birthday it also rained. Anyway this is what happened while were were getting food:

To top it off on the way back it was ‘you cant see nothing weather’.

So I decide I shall get this Dementium game. You see I’ve been interested in it for quite some time. Hyped it up myself and I got the official forums populated.
So should I have done or that? Or is my little fishy scared to death now because of the creepy eary music?
Oh by the way…should I tell you that this is a DS game?
For some reason I expect more in the graphics. While the team did so much more around. This graphics were like Metroid. The hype said it was ‘the best’. I shouldn’t believe the hype. But after all when graphics look like this:

You just end up not giving a shit about the graphics and play the bloody game.
Music I say is top notch. I can’t do a comic about it so I will skip to a complaint about the save system.
Next time will they figure out that people hate Auto-Save in Horror?
No…:P
Ah the Auto-Save problem. This game is the best horror experience on the Nintendo DS. But when it comes to Auto-Save many reviews have pushed it down. Why? Cause it just makes the experience so much more annoying.
Another annoying thing is monsters which you just can’t figure out how to kill them. Like it’s fun and all having some hard…but nothing to get you used to what to kill them with? Some you don’t even kill them and it took me so much time to figure out you just need flash nights. Shesh.
Could have been GoTY but Auto-Save screwed the developers over big time. Let’s hope Project M will be a much better title in terms of saving.
What do we give Dementium: The Ward?

Thumbs Up
Dementium has so much to offer even though it has some flaws. Every Nintendo DS owner should pick this title up.
