Look at this shit, its fucked I say. WTF is that bottom rung for? Myst worked fine on the PC and all it had was a mouse, so why does the DS version need some shitty rung across it? Then we have the retared Myst screen for if you don’t have a map or puzzle on the top screen as well as the map.

A few days ago, he sent it into the shop to get fixed. Well not fixed, he needed some things done with it.

Over the course of the week he has had his car delayed more and more due to parts not coming in, finding more problems etc.

Maybe he should get them to order in the other sensor and get the front one put in…it’s taking so long. (currently ETA’d at Wednesday and $1600) LOL

Good car, but when so many things need to be done with it in a row…fuck that.

Excite Truck Review

Platform: Wii

Get Excited! That is what everyone tells people before they play this game. Well I did get excited, did it work? No I found the game worse when I did ‘get excited’.

But wait hope is not lost; when I played the title again after I cooled down I managed to see what people where talking about. But at the same time this game isn’t perfect.

In Excite Truck you hold the Wii-mote sideways. As if you where playing a NES game. To move you tilt the controller and to drive you press 2. When it comes to a quick boost to jump over the hill or to speed past someone the D-Pad provides that.

I how ever find this control method a bit wonky donkey and wished there was another way. I would have loved to control this title simular to NFS: Carbon with control method 4. Which was perfect for driving because of the control you got, but in Excite Truck I often find myself in the trees or edge of the map when I try and stay on the road.

Excite Truck isn’t all shame the levels are fun, but I find that some of the later cups which make you go 3 laps on some levels it becomes too much. I would have loved to slow down to only 2, but at the same time the stars add pain.

One feature I love in Excite Truck is SD card music. It means I don’t have to listen to the music which sounds like it’s cheaply ripped off some other music in some way. But this feature allows me to listen to U2 whenever I play.

A feature of Excite Truck which I was disappointed in was the fact multiplayer is only 2 players. This really sucks;

1. Because sometimes people just don’t know how to play and it downs the competition.

2. Contrary to what Nintendo thinks Gamers have more than 1 friend who is real.

3. 2 players no matter how skilled they are; lacks competition which the main game has.

I was disappointed with Excite Truck, but it still provides fun game play I give it a So-So ratting.

Final Word – So-So
