Gamer Views is an article which is made and posted on Another Code Labs every few weeks. The article desifers the boundaries between gamers and game makers. As well as trying to put them closer together.

The blind eye is a gamers view which is seen so much. Mostly it is shown as fan boy-ism. Every gamer has a bit of fan boy-ism in them. No matter how much they say they are not fan boys of any company or game. They always seem to have a week spot for a certain company or developer. Sometimes this is just preference. But most of the time its almost a love, hate relationship with gamers and company’s.

Fan boy-ism is defined by most as someone who’s preference is shadowed by a blind experience with a company. In other words, someone who just has the one company or series of games in there collection.

Now some people may think this is just a small number of people. But in real life, the amount of people who are shadowed by there favorite company or are to reluctant to use other company’s products. This happens a lot in the gaming inderstry. People get blind of another company and don’t want to experience what others have to offer.

Basicly the down sides of been a fan boy is you don’t experience what others have to offer.

Other types of blindness to company’s mostly lie in catergrys of fan boy-ism. But there are different ranges of them. Kinda like the chilly chart. Chilly can be very very hot, or so soft its untestable.

It may not be fan boy-ism but some people have never touched some company’s games. Some titles such as Spliter Cell which Ubi soft produces. A few people I have talked to have mentioned that some Ubisoft franchise will be the first times they buy them. They are getting them on the Wii, but in most cases they have appeared on the GC as well, so it seems that if a developer supports it gets less and less basis fan boys towards their company.

I also suposse most don’t under stand how much it takes to develop a game. Oh well.

The Australian DS-X movment is a group of Australians (well err..ya…) who want the DS-X team and suppliers to group together and hurry up and release some Australian retailers for the device.

We have desided to email suppliers of homebrew Nintendo DS cards. Asking them something which is simmuar to:

Hi, I have noticed your site stocks Nintendo DS flash cards. I’m intrested in the DS-X card (http://ds-x.com)/. At the momment the DS-X card has no Australian sites which stock the device. It would be great if you contacted the DS-X team and became an offical reseller of the device or stock the item.

But so far only a few have been contacted. So if you know of a homebrew flash card shop in Australia send them an email and post in This thread at DS-X.

This blog post in a epic adventure to the local gully (aka 2 meters away) to play golf. Stuiped me forgot some shoes or thongs because of the burs…oh well. I’m there for the first swing though. It mangages to bounce behind the tree somewhere. Easy and I picked it up and gave it to my brother and quickly ran of to get shoes.

I went and got shoes. When I got back I just got to where my brother was and started walking down. He desided to do the swing then. A bad move because we then spent the rest of the time looking for this golf ball.

Anyway, half way through lookingt this old lady drives down, my brothers like ‘shes just comming to see what we are doing then is going to do something like go downtown or to the park yada yda dya’ anyway she drives down, asks us what where looking for, drives around and goes back to her house…WTF.

We never found that golf ball…:(

The worlds biggest killer. Is it aids? Is it some desise noone knows about? Is it a gas? No its a object, and it lies around us all. Its a rock.

Now when we dicovered the rocks tragic secret we where walking down a moutain at night. I slip, allmost fall of the edge, only to push the rock down instead. My bro then followed suit and did the same. With the comment ‘rocks the silent killer’. He became forever cursed the rocks kept comming….

At night. You an’t safe. We where walking again, only 2 nights ago. Walking up a street. Turn left, and we walk across the street and then walk past a poll, we get onto the foot path, only to have my brother walk cross onto a rock and trip over.

This rock was inplace for the naming of this gay street. But instead it triped over my brother as it was in the dark and no lights where around it. So basicly…it was silent and it was dark.
