Nintendo Revolution, A revolution or a flop?
E3 is soon, next generation console information is been released. But is Nintendo saving the best for last. The Nintendo Revolution is only about the thickness of three standard DVD cases and only slightly longer, dose this mean Nintendo has something special for the little Revolution? Or will it flop? This article is about the Revolution, the console that we wonder about.
Last e3 it was the DS this e3 it’s the Nintendo Revolution, slowly the information is spilled on to the internet, and slowly we piece together the Nintendo Revolution.
So far we know that it will be backwards capable with the Nintendo Gamecube, and will be a very small system. It will use 12cm disks and can stand horizontal or vertical. We also know that the Nintendo Revolution’s disk drive will be used for both the GC disks (8cm) and the Nintendo Revolutions (12cm) in the one drive, the controllers will also be wireless and online will be out of the box.
This is good news, but what about the “revolutionary” part of it? So far Nintendo hasn’t said anything, but there have been some Trademarked items from Nintendo that lead the speciation.
Once of these has to be that the Revolution will allow you to see more of what’s going on. But this factor hasn’t really been put with the Revolution for quite some time.
What’s been talked about a lot, is the “touch screen” or girospoc sensors on the controller. This is interesting and can make the Revolution an interesting next generation system.
What ever Nintendo wants to do, it will be done, and it will please people, but if it’s not revolutionary like Nintendo says, it will be a flop. Also Nintendo has mentioned something about wow graphics, Nintendo finally consecrating on graphics? Only time will tell.
